(HGK Winter Workshop Type Design) I noticed that Basler Zeitung's logotype which has been almost same since 1970's, has much weaker identity than other Basel city newspapers which use black letters, especially when the two red lines are hidden by other newspaper display. So I decided to translate blackletter into BaZ's current logotype adding the iconic two lines into the typeface itself.
